Jalna road to be Metro Rail ready. Beed Bypass to turn into super way.
As the plan is of a 10-lane road, NHAI will be constructing pillars for metro rail along with the road work. If metro is proposed in future from Nagar Naka to Cambridge School then there will be no inconvenience in developing infrastructure as it will be ready for it. There will be priority to public transport on Jalna Road including school buses. Hence two lanes will be reserved for them. The traffic management will help reduce the pollution and protect the environment. Flyover at Mukund wadi cancelled The Mukund wadi flyover has been cancelled as the present flyover bridge at Cidco is close to the site. Instead, NHAI proposed construction of subway in front of Chikalthana Airport. Beed Bypass to turn into super way There will be an overbridge at Mukundwadi Railway Station. The road will be extended till Beed Bypass. Three flyovers have been proposed which will be at MIT College, Shivajinagar, and Sangramnagar. There will be six lanes road upon these flyovers. Beed Bypass will also have Service Road and four foot over bridges. To provide safety of walkers during the night, the office has proposed construction of small shops at the subways. NHAI is also thinking of streamlining traffic passing through Mahanubhav Ashram Chowk. It is learnt that a subway will be constructed at Beed Bypass and the road of Mukundwadi Railway Station bridge will be extended till Beed Bypass and it will be made 30-metre wide with a big junction on this route. The development plan of the road has been prepared by the Cidco and Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) administration.
